Requirements

VIN Hunter runs on any iPhone or iPod Touch that has installed version 2.0 or later of the iPhone OS.

The iPhone is required to take photographs directly from the device. The iPod Touch has no camera but may add images and thumbnails to vehicles through the devices Photo Library.

An Internet connection is required (WiFi, 3G, or EDGE) to access CARFAX services. No Internet connection is required to decode a vehicle’s VIN.
